A TASTE OF HANOI’S SOUL

Series

“People said that we you travel to Hanoi, you have to experience street food…The weather in Hanoi is very cold. Some days, the temperature is only 7 or 8 degrees but eating Bun Cha is satisfying because you can feel the rice noodles and vegetables in your stomach. Also, the dipping sauce keeps us warm.”, Miss Thanh Huong – the owner of the 32-year-old Bun Cha stall in the middle of Hanoi lovingly shared.

Running the Bún Chả stall no longer seems like a job or a chore to her. It’s as if the stall is a 32 year-long journey, filled with passion for the culinary craft, the warmth of family love, and an inspiring story of inheritance.

Join RICE team in our adventure to a rainy day in Hanoi to feel the true warmth of a sincere bowl of Bun Cha in the latest edition of our Street Cooks – A Taste of Hanoi’s Soul, shall we?
